NetProffitt Enterprises - Paul and Annette ProffittWe're not Georgia natives, but we've lived in Georgia most of our lives. Annette and I moved to Georgia in 1981 from Knoxville,TN. We have lived in Suwanee since 2000 and really enjoy the neighborhood. While managing the GeorgiaMadeGeorgiaGrown.com online store is a business opportunity for us, it is also an opportunity to help others like us in Georgia. Annette and I both have day jobs. I design and manage web sites. Annette works for a local dermatologist managing billing and collections. We like to spend all our time together and since I really enjoy woodworking I've pulled Annette in with me (see our products listed here on GeorgiaMadeGeorgiaGrown.com and at Whispered Images). She doesn't do much woodworking, but she generates lots of ideas, critiques works, provides insightful guidance on pricing and supports and encourages buying woodworking tools when we need them. What we both have struggled with though is - Anyone else have that same question? I can be creative and insightful at times. I think it is usually God's way of guiding me to help people. I've also been known to talk too much which is why we are often the last people to leave a meeting or a church parking lot. You'd think we just don't have anywhere else to be. But for all our conversation we still don't seem to find good opportunities to sell our woodworking and laser engraving products. So when I first heard about Georgia Made Georgia Grown from my good friend Ralph Thorne I thought it sounded like something interesting. The more I learned about Georgia Made Georgia Grown the more interested I was. So I emailed Camille Ronay to express my interest in a link from her web site and as they say - the rest is history. I manage several web sites, but managing an online store is another giant leap entirely. That's why I've pulled Annette into the picture. She is working beside me (in her spare time of course) sharing ideas, coordinating things and being generally in charge of keeping things organized. We are here to help. How can we help make your Georgia business go and your Georgia made and Georgia grown products sell? Give us a call or contact us via email and lets get started. |
